We are committed to provide holistic care with emphasis on quality, compassionate care for each and every resident and family through the contributions of our valued staff members. Personal care attendants are available 24/7 to provide support to all residents.
All medications are administered by staff to ensure that essential medications are taken on time and not forgotten.
Staff members are available for residents who need assistance. This includes anything from getting dressed to bathing.
Staying active and vital makes every day worth living. Hillcrest Estates offers plenty of opportunities to meet people and make the most of everyday.
The residents’ rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. All clothing is washed weekly.
We serve 3 home-cooked meals daily plus snacks. Our menus are assessed and approved by the Consultant Dietitian with NL Health Services to ensure the menu is nutritionally adequate. If a resident has special dietary requirements, the Consultant Dietitian will help us meet their needs.
Once a month we have a birthday party to celebrate all residents celebrating birthdays that month. We also celebrate special occasions. This could include a Canada Day barbeque, or a Christmas Party with live entertainment.
Our goal is to ensure you are as comfortable as possible in your new home. We believe strongly in the benefits of personalizing residents rooms. Residents may complement existing furnishings with some of their own treasured possessions (i.e.) a favorite easy chair, television, lamp, radio, pictures, ornaments, plants, and books.
