Hillcrest Estates is a licensed Level I – II and Enhanced Care personal care home that caters to residents by taking care of their basic needs in a homelike atmosphere. Our home is located on a private lot off Mount Carson Avenue in Mount Pearl. There are private, semi-private and executive suites. Executive suites have a built-in kitchenette. Private rooms are designed for single residents, while semi-private rooms are shared. All rooms have private bathrooms. There are two large living rooms, one of which is used daily for recreation activities. Our home also offers residents a doctors office, beauty salon, and numerous sitting rooms throughout the home to accommodate friends and family. There are multiple summer decks around the building with comfortable furniture so residents can sit outside and enjoy the summer air during spring and summer months.
All rooms are spacious and non-smoking. Rooms are furnished with a twin bed (or double), drawer space, a closet, and a nightstand. Most rooms have a three-piece bathroom with shower. An assisted bath tub is available upon request. Thermostats are individually controlled to allow residents the ability to set the temperatures at their comfort level. For added safety rooms are equipped with a call bell, smoke detector and sprinkler system. Basic cable and wireless internet are available for all residents.
There are over 30 staff members that ensure the comfort and convenience of the residents, overseeing cooking, cleaning, laundry, maintenance, recreation, and most everything else. There is a registered nurse, dietitian, and social worker available. Counselling and pastoral care is also available.
